How We Review AI Tools
Our reviews are built around practical buyer questions rather than hype.
We examine available product information, official documentation, pricing, terms, features, limitations, demonstrations, and other relevant evidence. When appropriate, we also compare competing products so you can understand your options.
We look at factors such as:
What the product actually does
Current pricing and recurring costs
Important limitations or restrictions
Ease of use and the intended user
Commercial-use or licensing rights when relevant
Available documentation and support
Alternatives worth considering
Whether the product appears to justify its cost
Hands-On Testing vs. Research-Based Reviews
We believe you should know how a conclusion was reached.
When we personally use or test a product, we’ll make that clear. When an evaluation is based on research, documentation, demonstrations, and other available evidence rather than hands-on use, we’ll make that clear too.
We won’t claim to have personally tested a product when we haven’t.
That distinction is important because trustworthy reviews should separate what we can verify from what a seller claims.
